Mission: We come to help heal hurts, and soothe sorrows, we are the angels on earth with one mission to make the world better than we found it.

Charla’s Angels Activate:

When one of us hurts, we all are in pain. If one us in need, we must answer the call to action and help.

Early Saturday morning, January 4th tragedy struck the Kentuckiana-area as a mother lost three of her four children in a house fire in New Albany, Indiana. One child was rescued and taken to an Indianapolis hospital. The children who perished were 2-year-old Trinity, 4-year-old Tyrese, and 6-year-old Tai’zah . Their 5-year-old sister Taty’ana survived.

Fire swept through the home on 335 Ealy St. around 2 a.m Saturday. An investigation by the New Albany Fire Department reveals combustibles placed too close to a space heater caused the fire.

As anyone would be, I was saddened and heartbroken when I heard about the deadly fire. I have spoken to the grandmother of the children to offer our support.

I need you, Charla’s Angels to activate and take flight in our efforts to help the family and to remember these beautiful angels taken away too soon and help their mother and sister who are left to mourn their loss.

Please participate in one or more of these projects

The Barn would make Teddy Bears available for any children in the school to help them deal with the loss of their classmate.
